Kindergarteners Celebrate a Successful First Year with Singing and Dancing

On June 10 our kindergarten students regaled their proud families with an Israeli folk dance of Nigun Atik and Gav el Gav and a performance of songs in both Hebrew and English. Kindergarten teachers spoke of the work the kindergarteners have completed this year, saying, "This celebration reflects both general studies and Judaic studies. They have worked very hard this year and we wanted our students to have fun!" After the students received their certificates of completion, Dr. Glass spoke to the students and parents, sharing the Wallace Stevens poem "Earthly Anecdote." He concluded by saying, "I think this poem is beautiful and interesting and I hope you have summers that are beautiful and interesting. We are very proud of you."
