"Small People, Big Hearts"

For the past three years, first graders in Mrs. Eisenhauer's class have participated in a read-a-thon to support the SPCA. All year long, Mrs. Eisenhauer's students read to a therapy dog as part of the Puppy Dog Tales program, which promotes literacy and stimulates a love of reading in children. Through the read-a-thon, our students have raised so much money that Brandeis has attracted the attention of the SPCA, which is featuring Mrs. Eisenhauer's program in their fall 2016 newsletter, distributed to thousands of SPCA supporters. Our students are making it matter in the world around them!
