This website is intended to provide news and information about The Brandeis School of San Francisco. We will make all reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of content. No part of this site or its contents—including, but not limited to, the school logo—may be copied, reproduced, modified, retransmitted, distributed, published, commercially exploited or otherwise transferred without written permission from The Brandeis School of San Francisco.
Enrolled families and students are given access to specific password-protected areas of Brandeis’ website, which may contain personal information such as contact data. Visitors that are unaffiliated with Brandeis are welcome to access the non-secured portions of the website.
Within the password-protected areas of the site are the e-mail addresses of faculty, staff and Brandeis parents. Use of this information for private, commercial, or political mailings and/or distribution to any outside party is prohibited. Brandeis does not track, collect or distribute personal information about site visitors. However, we do collect some information about site visits. The statistics contain no personal information (or email addresses) and cannot be used to gather such information.
Student Privacy
Brandeis is committed to protecting the privacy of our students and their families. We do not post the full names of students on the public pages of our website. Images of students are used on the public pages of the site but students are never identified by name.
At the beginning of each school year, parents can notify Brandeis, in writing, if they do not wish to have their child’s picture or other identifiable information in media available to the general public.

Title IX Facts
Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 protects people from discrimination based on sex in education programs or activities that receive Federal financial assistance. Consistent with Title IX, the Brandeis School of San Francisco does not discriminate against applicants, students, faculty or staff based on sex in any of its programs or activities, including but not limited to its educational programs and employment. Title IX prohibits sexual harassment, including sexual assault.

What is the Complaint Process?
Individuals who believe they have been discriminated against in violation of Title IX may file a complaint with the School or the United States Department of Education, Office for Civil Rights (OCR). Parents or guardians may filed a complaint on behalf of their children. If criminal conduct is involved, such as sexual assault, individuals may also file a report with the local police department. The School will initiate its complaint procedures once it has received notice of sexual harassment or discrimination in violation of Title IX.
