Dr. Jody Bloom

Dr. Jody Bloom teaches 5th and 7th grade Judaic Studies, advises 7th grade students, and manages our nationally recognized Tzedek (Social Justice) Program. Jody has over two decades of teaching experience and has been at Brandeis since 2009. Jody earned her B.A. from Brandeis University in Near Eastern Judaic Studies, her M.Ed. in Private School Leadership from Teachers College at Columbia University, and her Ed.D from Drexel University in Educational Leadership and Management. In 2016, Jody was awarded a 2016 Diller Educator Award for Excellence in Jewish Day School Education.
