Catherine Withrington

Catherine Withrington is the Art Specialist at Brandeis. She grew up in Hong Kong and the United Kingdom but has been living in San Francisco for the last twenty years. She holds a B.A. (Honors) in Interior Architecture from the Edinburgh College of Art and a PGCE in Art and Design Education from the University of Reading. She began her career in Asia working in architecture, but switched paths to focus on a subject about which she is truly passionate! Before joining the Brandeis faculty, she taught art and design in public and private schools in the UK and around the Bay Area. In her spare time, she continues to study architecture, furniture and urban design.
