Every summer for our first session we like to start with a deep and hands-on focus on nature. Since it is still technically spring when we start we take the opportunity to get our hands dirty with planting, gardening, and exploring the wonderful and surprising brilliance of nature. By planting early we allow the children to experience the cycle of seed to sprout to full-grown plants by the end of summer. This year we’ll have an additional focus on insects and how they interact with the environment to help all the plants on earth grow.
For our field trips we’ll be heading to Tilden Farm in Berkeley and CuriOdyssey in San Mateo!

Arts Focus: Jewelry, Sculpture, Nature Design
