Rachel Klein

General Studies, 2nd Grade
Rachel Klein is a 2nd Grade Teacher and Chair of the Resident Teacher Mentorship Program. 2021 marks the 26th year that she has been teaching 2nd grade students at Brandeis. Rachel received her undergraduate degree in Speech and Communication Studies at San Francisco State University, where she also received her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. Additionally, she completed a certificate program at Richmond College in England in Theatre Studies. Rachel previously participated in a teaching exchange program in Tokyo, Japan, and brings these experiences into her teaching at Brandeis. A native San Franciscan, Rachel now lives down the coast in Pacifica with her husband and daughter. On weekends, you can find her timing swimmers at her daughter's swim meets, drinking iced coffee, or walking on the beaches of Pacifica.
