Judaic Studies, 1st & 2nd Grade
Sandra Menachem is the Judaic Studies teacher for 1st and 2nd Grade. She has worked in education for over 25 years, having earned her B.Ed. in Education and Administration from Ben-Gurion University, and a master’s degree in Early Childhood Education at Bank Street University. In addition to teaching at Brandeis, she dedicates her time to teaching American Jewish History and Holocaust Studies to Bay Area teens in partnership with Congregation Or Shalom, and also prepares students for their B’nai Mizvah. In her (very rare) downtime, she enjoys drinking espressos, taking long walks and spending time with her family.
