Third Annual Lag B'Omer Track and Field Day Showcases Teamwork and School Pride

The 3rd annual Brandeis Lag B’Omer Track and Field Day took place last Friday at Kezar Stadium. The day brought together the entire student body for a fun-packed day of games, sports, and activities. Building on the success of last year's event at Kezar Stadium—“Kezar is the Mecca of venues we have as options for this day,” says teacher and event co-organizer Sam Dossick—this event showcases the spirit of competition, teamwork, and school pride. Students in kindergarten through eighth grade participated in a series of age-appropriate stations—everything from tag, hula hoop, bean bag toss, and limbo for the younger students to the 100-yard dash, 4x100-yard relay race, tug of war, and the one-mile run for the older students.
Adds Jenny Rinn, director of lower school, “It was a wonderful day full of athletics, joy, and community building!" MORE PHOTOS
