Spring Concert Showcases Students' Musical Growth

On Monday, June 3, all of our Brandeis singers and musicians put on a concert for family and friends that showcased the work they have done throughout the year. Six student groups—fourth grade band; fifth grade band; middle school band; lower school chorus; middle school chorus; and the a capella group the Trebles—performed a variety of songs, including the theme from "Jurassic Park," "We Will Rock You," "Adiemus," "Lean on Me," and "Hine Ma Tov." The performance concluded with a beautiful all-groups rendition of "Give Us Hope" by Jim Papoulis. “We have had an amazing year teaching and learning with our students and watching them grow and develop as musicians,” music teacher Kimberly Lostetter and band director Ari Micich wrote in their welcome letter.

"A big shout-out to Kim Lostetter and Ari Micich for a wonderful spring concert," exclaimed Director of Lower School Jenny Rinn. "I'm blown away by the talent they've cultivated in our students and the program they've grown over the last few years!" MORE PHOTOS
