Students Engage in Passover Activities in Preparation for the Upcoming Holiday

Many Passover celebrations and activities took place throughout the week, in preparation for next week’s holiday. The fourth grade students engaged in a Passover seder, sharing with one another their own family traditions—putting an orange on the seder plate, re-enacting the 10 plagues, to name a few—and learning about Passover traditions from around the world. Yesterday, lower school students participated in fun Passover activity stations during recess, where they tried matzah with maror, built pyramids out of paper cups, played Passover bingo, and decorated their own matzah covers. And today, kindergarten through second graders had the opportunity to watch an interactive, educational Passover puppet show put on by Treehouse Learning. Wishing all of our students and families a chag Pesach sameach! MORE PHOTOS
