Parents' Association

About the Parents' Association

At Brandeis, making it matter isn’t just a mission statement — it’s how the whole community shows up, every day. The Parents’ Association is the parent-powered heart of that effort.

The PA works closely with faculty, staff, and the Board of Trustees to create events, programs, and opportunities that make Brandeis feel like home for every family. From Jewish holiday celebrations to our annual Book Fair, from service opportunities to faculty and staff appreciation, we’re here to build the kind of community where everyone belongs.

Every Brandeis parent is automatically a PA member — and whether you want to roll up your sleeves and volunteer or simply show up and enjoy, there’s a place for you here.

Each year, the PA celebrates the spirit of giving back with the Or Hadash (New Light) Award. Nominated by parents, faculty, and staff, this honor is presented at the Community End-of-Year Celebration to a parent who exemplifies what it means to volunteer with generosity, warmth, and heart. It’s one of our favorite nights of the year.

Want to get involved? We’d love to hear from you at pa@sfbrandeis.
