Giving Opportunities

The Brandeis Fund

The Brandeis Fund is our school’s annual fund campaign. It is the school's most important fundraising effort because it provides the greatest impact. Each year, parents, alumni, and friends show their support for our students and teachers by making a gift to The Brandeis Fund. The Brandeis Fund provides unrestricted funding to help offset the cost of educating each student. The funds raised account for more than 7% of the school’s operating budget, making it a critical component in supporting daily life at the school. Every gift goes to work immediately to enrich each student’s educational experience.

Gifts to The Brandeis Fund support:

  • Innovative curriculum and academic program initiatives
  • Faculty excellence including competitive salaries, benefits, and access to professional development
  • Co-curricular programs such as art, athletics, band, CREATE, drama, library arts, and music
  • Socio-economic diversity in our community through our generous tuition assistance program
  • Leading-edge technology in the classrooms and student access to laptops and devices to ensure that students can make the most of their learning
  • Capital improvements to our facilities

Our goal is 100% participation from our parent community. In the 2023-2024 school year, 100% Brandeis trustees and 100% of faculty and staff are supporting The Brandeis Fund.

The Eitanim Society:
Donors who contribute to the Brandeis Fund nine years or more become members of the Eitanim Society. Eitanim means steadfast and your dedicated support during your family’s years at Brandeis and beyond is valued. Consistent annual giving to the school allows Brandeis to remain exceptional and ensures our school remains strong today and tomorrow. Eitanim Society members receive special acknowledgment in the annual report.

Major Gifts

To support the implementation of strategic priorities, larger-scale gifts allow for significant investments in areas that enhance all aspects of teaching and learning, including faculty enrichment, campus improvements, and the richness of our diverse community.

Events

Our vibrant and diverse community comes together to strengthen and support the school and its mission during several events throughout the year.

Grandparents and Special Friends Day is a special occasion where we invite grandparents and special friends of our students to visit our school and celebrate their student’s learning and growth. It offers a rich opportunity to learn and share with each other the wisdom of our years and how it has shaped who we are today.

The Annual Spring Fundraiser is a celebratory evening that raises funds for the tuition assistance program which promotes socio-economic diversity in our school by enabling a broad range of families to access a Brandeis education for their children. In 2023-2024, the school is providing more than $3.8M in tuition assistance to 48% of our students.

SAVE THE DATE: The 2023-2024 spring fundraiser will take place on the evening of SATURDAY, April 13, 2024.
