  • Our Program

At The Brandeis School of San Francisco, we believe that true learning happens only when knowledge is connected to purpose. We know that what our students learn at Brandeis today will matter to the world tomorrow, and we strive to educate people capable of making meaningful contributions. Our challenging K–8 academic environment is focused on relevance and rooted in Jewish values, traditions, and culture.
  • Academics After Brandeis

We make education matter for our students after Brandeis, and high schools welcome our graduates not just for their academic strength but also for their sense of purpose, community, and activism. Over 95 percent of our graduates are accepted into one of their top-choice high schools.
  • Our Faculty

At Brandeis, our teachers follow the best practices set by the most recent findings in educational research, experience, and a collaborative approach. Our faculty and administrative team actively engage in ongoing professional development.

Additionally, The Brandeis School of San Francisco Teacher Residency Program allows new and experienced teachers to develop their teaching skills under the guidance of lead teachers. Residents grow their practices through hands-on experience in the classroom guided by goal-oriented mentorship from their lead teachers. The resident-mentor relationship fosters a community of intellectual curiosity and expansion in which all teachers can learn from one another through collaboration, discussion, and reflection.
  • Our Facilities

The Brandeis School of San Francisco has a multi-faceted campus that integrates outdoor and indoor spaces into a simple-to-navigate and welcoming place. With easy access to the school from all areas of San Francisco, there’s ample parking for student drop-off, pick-up, and events. The light-filled lobby acts both as the point where students begin school, and a place where parents share coffee and catch up before heading off to their respective days.
  • Our Students

Brandeis students become accomplished, independent, creative, and critical thinkers. A low student-to-teacher ratio (7:1) allows students to receive individual attention and sets the foundation for them to grow and lead lives of learning and purpose.
  • Our Community

At Brandeis, our students and families are embraced by our open and nurturing community, one that finds purpose and connection in Jewish thoughts, values, and tradition.
