  • Our Academic Program

Our academic program is led by dedicated, masterful faculty members, and integrates contemporary Judaic studies into a demanding curriculum that includes STEM, Social Studies, Language Arts, Foreign Languages, Physical Education, Community Service, Experiential and Maker Education, Music, and Creative Arts. Rooted in Jewish ethics and values, our "low-floor, high-ceiling" approach is designed to support a range of learning profiles, creating a culture of curiosity, resilience, and belonging.
  • Our Students

Brandeis students grow into independent, creative, and critical thinkers as they move through the various stages of their educational journeys. A low student-to-teacher ratio enables students to develop meaningful relationships with faculty members who know and appreciate each child's unique learning style, and our tight-knit community fosters closeness among students of different ages. Older students serve as mentors and role models to younger classmates, and take on added leadership responsibilities through student government, performing arts, athletics, and service.
  • Our Faculty

At Brandeis, our faculty are part of a supportive, collaborative community. Teachers are encouraged to pursue innovative approaches to pedagogy and curriculum, and take advantage of opportunities for professional development at every stage of their careers.
  • Our Facilities

Located near Lake Merced and San Francisco State University, The Brandeis School of San Francisco's secure, modern, two-acre campus includes a dedicated lower school playground, gymnasium, fine arts studio, woodshop, music room, and science lab. Kindergarten through middle school classrooms offer flexible layouts, state of the art technology and acoustics, and access to outdoor gardens and athletic courts. Our light-filled lobby also acts as a meeting and event space, hosting performances, holiday celebrations, and informal coffee meet-ups throughout the year.
  • Our Values

At Brandeis, families are immersed in a vibrant, inclusive, and supportive community where each child is known and cherished. Our core values - Kindness, Integrity, Service - teach students to treat themselves and one another with compassion, to act responsibly and courageously at all times, and to embrace our shared and ongoing responsibility to improve the world.
  • Our Community

The Brandeis community, which includes all current and former teachers, students, employees, and families, is defined and enriched by our deep investment in one another, and by the many ways we find purpose and meaning in Jewish ethics, actions, and traditions.

  • Beyond Brandeis

With individualized guidance from our high school counselor, our graduates are routinely admitted to distinguished public and private high schools all over the Bay Area and around the country. High schools welcome Brandeis students not only for their academic promise, but also for their commitment to community involvement and activism.
