Middle School Students Learn Hebrew at the Speed of Light

Through the Ulpan Or Hebrew curriculum, “Learning Hebrew at the Speed of Light,” middle school students in Tammy Broner’s class have been working on a conversational activity that helps with language acquisition. By watching video dialogues of native Israeli speakers and then acting them out, students have the opportunity to work on their vocabulary, verb conjugations, and pronunciation of words.

 

Says Ms. Broner, “A great way to study any language is assimilation. Hebrew becomes so lovely in our class thanks to dialogues that are both humorous and realistic! The students will experience this Israeli culture firsthand next year when they take the Israel trip.” MORE PHOTOS
