Tuition Assistance

At Brandeis, we believe that all of us are responsible for one another, and are deeply committed to making it possible for every mission-aligned student to enroll. Brandeis school culture prioritizes sensitivity to the broad range of socio-economic backgrounds represented in our community.

Our robust tuition assistance program offers discounted tuition rates for families with demonstrated financial need, families where a parent works full-time for a Jewish non-profit agency (Shorashim), and families where one parent is an employee at the school. We earmark approximately 30% of our operating budget towards tuition assistance, and nearly 50% of Brandeis families receive some amount of aid. Applying for tuition assistance will not prejudice a student's application for admission in any way, and we strongly encourage families who have concerns about their ability to afford the full tuition to apply for tuition assistance. While every family is expected to contribute to the cost of tuition (and will be asked to support the Brandeis Annual Fund), our model is designed to enable families to do both at a meaningful level throughout a long relationship with the school.
