  • INQUIRE

Thank you for your interest in The Brandeis School of San Francisco. You are invited to begin the admissions process at Brandeis by inquiring online. Once you inquire, you will be contact by Polly Sapakie to schedule a campus visit.
  • VISIT

We invite you to take a tour of our school campus. During the tour, led by Director of Admissions Tania Lowenthal, you will have the opportunity to experience the day in the life of a Brandeis student.

Additionally, we invite you to attend our Just for Kindergarten Open House on November 13, 2019 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. During this event, you’ll have an opportunity to take an in-depth look at the kindergarten curriculum, in addition to meeting our school administrators, parents, and alumni.

If you are unable to attend one of our scheduled tours, please contact Polly Sapakie, Admissions Assistant, at psapakie@sfbrandeis.org.
  • APPLY

All applications, including submission of student evaluation forms, may be completed by logging into our website. You may start the form and resume at any time.

You may choose to apply in the fall, which gives you more flexibility in scheduling your parent interview. Please be sure to submit your application 3 days prior to your parent interview.

The application is due January 24, 2020. Please be sure to also include a recent photo of the applicant.

A completed application includes the application form, student evaluation form, $100 non-refundable fee, and a recent photo of the applicant.
  • STUDENT EVALUATION FORM

You can click here or access the student evaluation form on your online checklist by logging into our website. You can email it directly to your child's teacher and/or print, sign, and complete the top portion of the form and give it to your child's current teacher(s) to return to Brandeis.
  • STUDENT VISIT

Student visits will take place in January and February 2020.

When your child visits Brandeis, they get to spend two hours in one of our kindergarten classrooms with other children and kindergarten teachers. They participate in an integrated, interactive, hands-on project that resembles an experience in kindergarten. Additionally, your child will meet one-on-one with one of our faculty members. This gives us an opportunity to get to know your child holistically and to recognize their unique spark.

During this visit, parents have the opportunity to have further questions answered by members of our Brandeis community.
  • PARENT/GUARDIAN MEETING

Once a child's application has been submitted, parents/guardians are invited to a 30-minute conversation with Director of Admissions Tania Lowenthal to continue the process of getting to know your family. At Brandeis, we take this process of choosing a school for your child and a community for your family very seriously. We strive to create a school community where students and families understand and are supportive of our mission and values of kindness, integrity, and service.
